This program is designed to provide participants with a practical and actionable survey of MHPAEA’s requirements. In part one of our two-part MHPAEA professional education series, we’ll focus on the underlying concepts of MHPAEA, as well as plan design and administration issues arising in the mental health parity context.
Participants will review:
- Plan design conflicts respecting both financial requirements/Quantitative Treatment Limitations (“QTL’s”) and Non-quantitative Treatment Limitations (“NQTL’s”).
- Plan-level participant and beneficiary directed responsive communication requirements for employers responding MHPAEA-related claims and coverage issues.
