Tampa, FL (February 27, 2023) – Kristy Desmarais has been promoted to Managing Director – Employee Benefits Group at BKS Partners, a subsidiary of BRP Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: BRP), effective immediately.
As Managing Director, Desmarais will have responsibility and oversight of the Employee Benefits P&L, and she will take on the leadership of the Client Experience and Specialty Operations teams. Desmarais will focus on continuing to drive organic growth, maintain the BKS world-class level of client retention, implement colleague training and developmental programs, and find ways to maximize efficiencies within the business.
A 12-year BKS veteran, Desmarais joined the Naples, FL BKS office in 2010 as a Client Executive and played an integral role in the rapid organic growth and success of the Naples & Fort Myers offices. From 2010 to 2020, her strategic thought leadership and guidance were instrumental in the growth of the BKS Southwest Florida footprint from a three-colleague office to 20+ colleagues supporting one of BKS’s largest books of business.
In 2020, Desmarais was promoted to Senior Director, Client Experience. She collaborated with the EBG leadership team to drive efficiencies, implement processes across the regional footprint, and build a scalable structure to allow for continued growth.
Desmarais influence and impact on the business are evident as 2022 was a banner year in EBG for new business, sales velocity, client retention, colleague development, and new process development and implementation.
